Version 0.2.0
Released
Riding
- Start a trainer ride by pedaling after setup. Pausing deliberately still keeps the ride paused.
- Trainer resistance anticipates hills by 1.25 seconds by default, adjustable from 0 to 3 seconds. This timing is an estimate, with physical trainer verification still pending. Workout ERG targets are unchanged.
- Wind reminders appear briefly when the wind changes relative to your direction, including around turns.
- Pacer labels show their current target watts. All 16 pacers have distinct personalities and 96 scripted remarks for catching up, passing and being passed. These work offline.
Collectibles
- The collection grows to 69 characters: 28 familiar riders, 14 country rares across 11 countries, and one extra-rare character for each of the 27 routes.
- New catches appear in a swinging card from the bottom of the screen. Every character has a portrait and trophy, with collected figures displayed in the clubhouse.
Music and clubhouse
- An optional compact Spotify player sits above the elevation profile on the web. Expanding or minimizing preserves playback; closing unloads it. It loads only when requested and uses Spotify's controls. Full-track Premium playback is still being verified.
- If a clubhouse file is missing after an update, loading recovery saves the recording, photos and workout state before fetching a fresh page. Returning to the ride restores it paused.
- Ride restoration blocks premature starts, pre-ride Bluetooth reconnection keeps pedal-start available, and deselecting every summary photo clears the saved selection.
Performance and diagnostics
- With performance sharing on, short diagnostic records correlate hitches with photo capture, shader work, scenery loading and frame timings. Photo encoding time is measured separately from main-thread delivery. This helps investigate stalls; it does not establish that photos caused them.
- The version appears beside FPS and opens these release notes without stopping the ride. Desktop includes the notes locally.
- Performance reports include the release version and a separate build timestamp. Sharing remains optional and is disabled on desktop.
